CAI KIDS is the juvenile division of Capital Artists of NC, representing a select few professional child actors of all ages. Actors signed in this division have extensive theatrical credits on stage, in film and television and/or in video. CAI KIDS and their parents have had training in all aspects of the entertainment industry and understand that acting professionally is a business.
CAI KIDS has a national reputation for finding and developing the careers of child actors. Among juvenile actors who began their careers under CAI KIDS' direction are: Frankie Muniz, EMMY and Golden Globe nominee and star of the TV hit, Malcom in the Middle, and the films, Big Fat Liar and My Dog Skip; Evan Rachael Wood, star of the ABC series, Once and Again and films, The Upside of Anger, Pretty Persuasion and Thirteen for which she received a Best Actress Golden Globe nomination. Both of these former CAI KIDS were also nominated in their early careers by the Hollywood Press for Best New Young Performer.
CAI is dedicated to pursuing professional acting opportunites for our young actors while keeping in mind that our KIDS are children whose first job is to be a child. Working closely with casting directors from throughout the country, we have developed and continue to foster a group of young actors who posses the maturity and professionalism of those in our adult division while maintaing the joy of being a child and bringing that realism to the work that they do.
